Hours will be Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-9:00pm Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, where your expertise in medical imaging and patient care will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in evaluating and treating patients across a variety of clinical settings, including emergency, outpatient, and inpatient care. Your proficiency in diverse imaging modalities and commitment to radiation safety will ensure high-quality results while maintaining the utmost patient comfort and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in diagnostic radiology. Responsibilities Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT (Computed Tomography), PET (Positron Emission Tomography), mammography, DEXA scans, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology procedures. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them accurately, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure. Assist with urgent care and emergency room imaging needs, providing rapid and accurate diagnostic images for trauma cases or urgent evaluations. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with medical standards and hospital protocols. Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate diagnostic evaluation and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform routine maintenance on radiologic equipment and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Requirements Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols during all procedures. Ability to perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and aseptic technique when required. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in high-pressure situations. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is required Knowledge of medical imaging software systems and equipment operation is essential for efficient workflow.
