Sign-on Bonus Available Schedule:

Full Time Shift:

Rotating 12 hour shifts, 2 days on and 2 days off M-F 7:45 AM

• 8:00 PM, half day on Friday either 7:45 AM
• 2:00 PM or 1:45 PM
• 8:00 PM, and every other weekend Sat. & Sun. 7:45 AM
• 5:00 PM + Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.

+ Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.

+ Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.

+ Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.

+ Obtains and documents patient history and explain procedures.

+ Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.

+ Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.

+ Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam.

+ Screens patients properly for any contrast allergies and for childbearing age, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.

+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner.

+ Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• + Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required] + Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required] + Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required] + Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required] + Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required] + Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required] + Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required] •

Education:

• + Associate or Bachelor's [Preferred] + High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Work Experience:
• + 2+ years experience [Required]
• Licenses and Certifications:
• + Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] + Registered Technologist
• Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
