Magnetic Resonance Imaging Advanced Modality Technologist position
Requirements:
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography
R.
T.(R) and/or MR Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
Experience:
2 years or more of MRI Technologist, General MRI Technologist (preferred) If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: MR, CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X-Ray Tech), Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT), Radiologic / Radiology Technologist, Siemens MRI Machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, MRI Tech, MRI Radiographer, Radiologic Technologist, and Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

The MRI Department at Memorial Hospital uses the latest in technology to provide quality imaging and angiography for our inpatients and outpatients. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
