Radiologic Technologist Night Shift

Job Description

Job Overview Pineville Community Health Center is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both X-Ray and CT procedures, demonstrate excellent patient care skills, and maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-Ray) examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. Operate CT imaging equipment and perform CT procedures safely and efficiently. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures. Monitor and maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members. Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R). Current Kentucky Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility to obtain). Minimum 2 years of experience in both X-Ray and CT imaging. Current BLS certification. Strong knowledge of radiology safety practices and imaging procedures. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
