IR Technologist (Travel Contract)
Location :
Colmar Manor, Maryland Compensation:
Up to $3350/Week Depending on Experience (Includes up to $2233/week in Stipends)

ASAP Shift/Schedule :
Day Shift 7:30am-4:00pm;
No Weekends, No On-Call Responsibilities Overview of Responsibilities:
Outpatient dialyzer/access center setting Pre-procedure setup starting at 7:30 AM Perform vascular dialysis access procedures (angios, declots, HD catheter placements/exchanges). ~10 scans per shift total across the team (~5 per tech) Operating GE AND Philips imaging equipment Utilizing a cloud-based PACS system for image uploads Cross-covering/scrubbing in when required Responsible for running the site's radiation safety program (will be the primary tech on site initially). Will NOT be responsible for sterilization or non-vascular procedures (no PAD program, no random PD catheters). Setting (Hospital / Inpatient, Med Center, Home Health, LTC, etc):
Outpatient Patient Population:
Dialysis patients at an outpatient access center
Patient Volume:
High Types of Procedures (Duration, type, etc): interventional radiology procedures for outpatient dialysis access (focusing on vascular access work). The technologist will also need to be able to scrub in to assist with procedures if needed.
EHR System:
Sis (or SIS - Surgical Information Systems) Equipment used: GE AND Philips scanners and equipment. Required Skills ARRT certification (standard X-ray certification) State License (as required by the local state governing body) Hands-on experience scrubbing and performing IR/vascular access procedures (HD catheter placements and exchanges)
