Key Qualifications:
Current, valid certification as an MRI Technologist. Demonstrated expertise in MRI operations with proficiency in imaging protocols. ARRT (MRI) certification strongly preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and medical staff. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new systems and workflows.
Core Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate imaging and effective patient care. Maintain accurate records and safeguard patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards. Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshooting as needed.
