Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proficiency in CT, X-Ray, and PET/CT procedures and protocols State licensure as required for radiologic technologists Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital imaging environment is preferred Strong knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting Exceptional communication and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced medical environment

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT, X-Ray, and PET/CT imaging procedures according to physician orders Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and safety Ensure proper positioning, exposure techniques, and immobilization to achieve optimal imaging Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed Accurately document patient information and imaging results within hospital systems Employ strict safety standards to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure Support physicians and medical staff with accurate, timely imaging data to inform diagnosis and treatment
