Category Imaging•MRI Job Type Contract Take the next step in your imaging career as an MRI Technologist supporting a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity involves working in a modern imaging department, providing high-quality MRI procedures, and contributing to a collaborative care team.
Schedule & Shift Information:
12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week Regular schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00am•7:30pm
Onboarding:
First two weeks, Monday•Friday, 7:30am•4:00pm No on-call or call-back requirements Possibility of working one holiday, maintaining the same shift hours
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and valid certification/registration as an MRI Technologist Proven experience operating MRI equipment and associated technology Comfort in assisting with patient positioning, safety, and care within the MRI suite Willingness to assist with X-ray procedures if qualified (optional, only if experienced and comfortable) Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to imaging protocols Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols Accurately document patient histories, procedures, and imaging results Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure quality images and optimal patient outcomes Maintain MRI safety standards for patients, staff, and visitors Support the department by assisting with lifting/moving patients when needed Observe all healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and infection control guidelines
