Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a CT Technologist and/or X-ray/Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Registered or registry-eligible in CT and/or Radiography Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently Thorough knowledge of imaging protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety procedures Strong interpersonal abilities for communicating clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams Commitment to patient confidentiality and high ethical standards Prior experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations as ordered by referring providers Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging results and patient comfort Accurately document patient history, procedures, and any relevant observations in electronic medical records Apply appropriate safety measures to protect patients, coworkers, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure Monitor imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to provide timely, accurate imaging assessments Support workflow efficiency and contribute positively to a patient-focused work environment This role provides valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative setting, where your technical skills and compassionate approach to patient care will be respected and appreciated. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
