Job Overview :
The X-ray Technician performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians and APP's in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The X-ray Technologist ensures quality imaging, radiation safety, and efficient workflow in the clinic.
Qualifications :
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technician in a hospital or physician's office Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge and proficiency with
Microsoft Word and Outlook Preferred :
EPIC knowledge is a plus Working with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS is a plus Experience with non-weightbearing patients/stretcher patients is a plus Knowledge of leg length series is a plus
Certifications and Licenses Required :
AART NJ Radiologic Tech License CPR Certification approved by the
American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements :
12:00pm - 5:00pm ( 10 hours per week) Monday and Thursday Part-Time (This is a non-benefits eligible position)
Essential Functions :
40 x-rays per day Multiple views for Sports Medicine, Trauma and Joint Replacement, Upper Ext, Lower Ext, and Spine Other duties as assigned Other Things to
