Job Description

Radiologic Technologist - DEXA / Body Composition Imaging Job Summary Aspirational Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist with hands-on DEXA experience to join our growing preventive and wellness practice. This role focuses on performing DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans for bone health and body composition assessment, supporting our metabolic health, weight management, and healthy aging programs. Responsibilities Perform DEXA examinations including lumbar spine/hip bone density studies and total body composition analyses (lean mass, fat mass, visceral adipose tissue) Position patients accurately per manufacturer and ISCD standards for reproducible, high-quality studies Operate, calibrate, and maintain DEXA equipment; perform routine quality assurance testing Educate patients on DEXA procedures, body composition results, and follow-up recommendations Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff on imaging quality and workflow
Qualifications Required:
ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) or equivalent state-recognized radiologic technologist credential Prior hands-on experience performing DEXA/bone densitometry examinations Current PA state licensure if applicable Strong attention to detail and patient-centered communication skills Comfort working independently in a smaller, multidisciplinary practice Preferred (not required): CBDT (Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist) credential through ISCD Experience with GE Lunar systems (iDXA or Horizon) Experience performing total body composition and visceral fat/VAT analyses Background in outpatient, preventive medicine, sports medicine, or metabolic health settings Why Join Aspirational Health?
