Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in radiologic procedures, patient care, and advanced imaging modalities. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing essential diagnostic services that support patient treatment and outcomes. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging examinations while adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring optimal patient comfort. Duties Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT (Computed Tomography), mammograph. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them accurately, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the examination. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging activities. Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing various modalities such as ultrasound (sonography). Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams in emergency room settings Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment used in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure all medical equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Assist in specialized imaging procedures such as mammography. Uphold aseptic techniques during invasive procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety during interventional radiology interventions. Requirements Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program; licensure as required by state or local regulations. Candidates must be registered OR registry eligible with the ARRT and have an active BLS Certification Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately perform diagnostic evaluations across various body systems. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols in clinical practice. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to established protocols. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiology and emergency medicine environments. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced settings such as urgent care facilities or trauma centers. Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
