Position Summary This position is responsible for producing high-quality X-ray images for screening and/or diagnostic purposes for a specified patient population, while also performing Medical Assistant duties within the Express Care setting.

Key Responsibilities Radiologic Duties:

Operate and calibrate all diagnostic X-ray equipment Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs for radiologist interpretation Review physician orders and suspected pathology to ensure appropriate testing Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Maintain competency in patient care techniques for all age groups Follow all radiation safety policies and procedures; consult with Radiation Safety Officer as needed

Patient Care & Clinical Support:

Register patients in the TAH Meditech system Respond to patient questions regarding procedures and processes Draw blood using proper techniques and procedures Perform waived laboratory testing accurately Monitor and record daily temperatures and perform quality control checks

Operational Responsibilities:

Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all equipment Order and manage necessary supplies Monitor and check expiration dates on supplies Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment Perform additional duties as assigned by the

Imaging Director Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved program Eligible for or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) If registry-eligible, must obtain certification within one year of hire Current BLS certification required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and hospital information Comply with all corporate, departmental, and regulatory policies and procedures Demonstrate strong communication skills with diverse populations Provide positive, professional interactions with patients, families, staff, and third-party payers Stay current with healthcare regulations and standards Maintain reliable attendance and perform duties safely and efficiently Remain calm and effective in emergency situations Adapt to a variety of physical and emotional situations and apply appropriate problem-solving Benefits 85% employer paid Medical coverage Low-cost Vision and Dental coverage Employer paid Basic Life and Disability coverage Generous paid time off
