Job Summary Occupational Medical Care is seeking a skilled Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) , Non-Certified Technician (NCT) , or Cross-Trained Medical Assistant to join our team in Nederland, TX. This role combines limited diagnostic radiography with clinical patient care, occupational health screenings, and electronic medical record management.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties Diagnostic Imaging & Safety:

Perform basic diagnostic X-rays following standard imaging protocols, accurate patient positioning, and ALARA radiation safety guidelines.

Patient Triage & Preparation:

Prepare patients for physical exams (pre-employment, DOT, fit-for-duty, and routine exams). Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, O2 saturation) and medical history.

Workplace Injury Care:

Assist healthcare providers with initial triage, treatment, and ongoing management of work-related injuries and Workers' Compensation cases.

Diagnostic & Screening Tests:

Conduct 12-lead EKGs (ECG), spirometry/pulmonary function testing, audiometric screenings, and vision exams.

Specimen Collection & Lab Work:

Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture), urine drug collection (DOT and Non-DOT protocols), breath alcohol testing (BAT), and rapid diagnostic lab screens while maintaining chain-of-custody compliance.

EHR & Medical Charting:

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

On-Call & Team Support:

Maintain clinic workflow, stock medical supplies, sanitize exam rooms, and participate in occasional on-call coverage as needed.

Pay:

$22.50 - $23.50 per hour
