Job Description
Radiographer/NCT/CMA Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer/NCT/CMA Work location: 3136 Horizon Road
Suite 100 Rockwall, Texas 75032 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday-Thursday (8am
5pm), Fridays (8am
4pm)

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED)
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)
Six months of relevant work experience as an NCT (PREFERRED)
One year Medical Assistant experience (REQUIRED)
NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board and CMA certification upon hire (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do:
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards
Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls
Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules and department policies
Obtain and record vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee:
