Perform Advanced MRI Imaging Perform routine and specialty MRI examinations Produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images Operate advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems Adapt imaging protocols to meet individual patient needsDeliver Exceptional Patient Care Create a calm, reassuring experience for every patient Explain MRI procedures clearly and compassionately Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout each examination Provide exceptional customer service from arrival through completion of the examMaintain Clinical Excellence Follow MRI safety protocols and best practices Complete accurate documentation in PACS and RIS Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging Maintain imaging quality standards while supporting efficient patient flowWhat You'll BringRequired Six months or more of MRI experience or successful completion of a formal MRI training program ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification Current BLS certification Strong customer service and communication skillsPreferred Experience in an outpatient imaging environment Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems Experience performing specialty MRI examinations Experience working with GE MRI systemsWhat Success Looks Like You'll be successful when you: Perform MRI examinations confidently and independently Produce consistently high-quality images requiring minimal repeats Deliver a calm, supportive experience for every patient Adapt quickly to workflows within our Reston/Herndon Imaging Center Become a dependable member of our PRN MRI teamWho Thrives Here You'll be successful if you are someone who: Enjoys MRI and continually seeks to expand your expertise Takes pride in producing exceptional diagnostic images Values patient education and compassionate care Works well independently while supporting a collaborative team Adapts easily to changing patient volumes and schedules Appreciates the flexibility of PRN workWhy Fairfax Radiology Centers?
