Contribute your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Qualifications:
Certification and proven competency in CT and CT/PET technologies Valid ARRT (CT) or NMTCB certification, with appropriate state licensure Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and equipment operation Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess image quality Effective communication skills for working with both patients and healthcare staff Minimum of one year's experience in a healthcare imaging role preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders, following department protocols Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure Operate imaging equipment, accurately adjusting settings to optimize scan quality Evaluate images for technical quality, reporting findings as appropriate Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational policies Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns This contract position offers a chance to work alongside experienced imaging professionals, utilizing the latest technology in patient diagnostics.
