Job Description

Assistant Venue Director - Wedding Venue & Event Center Union 12 & Paper Mill on the Landing are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our team! Since 2018, our facilities have hosted hundreds of events, including weddings, corporate events and more. Our small business is looking to add a full time position to assist in the business operations for our facilities. This position will work directly with the Venue Director, as well as our vendors, clients, and trade partners. This role doesn't entail wedding coordination or planning; it's primarily focused on behind-the-scenes operations, facility management, and client communication.

Job Description:

Conduct venue tours (one evening per week required) Meeting with booked couples for details meetings, layouts, and bar planning conversations Engage clients & establish relationships with vendors Assisting in the planning and execution of public events Prepare documents/binders for each event Answer client messages, emails, calls, etc. Managing additional event add-ons Facilitate bar conversations and contracts with clients Fulfill other management duties as required, up to 50 hours a week We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, professional, and confident meeting with clients Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to juggle multiple events, deadlines, and moving pieces at once Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Excited about weddings, events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences

Job Details:

Full-time position 40-50 hours a week (Including occasional weekends and one evening per week for tours) Travel to both venues (Union 12 and Paper Mill) will be required

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
