Your Role:
Recreational Therapist As a Recreational Therapist at FAR, you'll design and deliver dynamic, personalized therapy experiences that empower and create healing opportunities for clients of all ages. From one-on-one sessions to small groups, you'll bring creativity and compassion to every interaction whether on-site, in schools, group homes, or community settings. What You'll Do
    Create & Innovate:
    Develop engaging music therapy interventions tailored to client interests and abilities.
    • Document with
    Purpose:
    Complete assessments, progress notes, and reports that reflect meaningful outcomes via our EHR system.
      Build Connections:
      Communicate professionally with clients, families, and support teams.
        Collaborate:
        Contribute to interdisciplinary programs and organizational events like showcases, camps, and community outreach.
        • Lead with
        Excellence:
        Maintain MT-BC certification and uphold the highest ethical standards and scope of practice. What We're Looking For
        • Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialists (CTRS)
        • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
        • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic medical records.
