Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to support the creation and delivery of meaningful resident engagement opportunities that enhance quality of life and advance the Community's commitment to the Seven Dimensions of Wellness. Through relationship-building, purposeful programming, and resident-centered experiences, this position helps foster connection, independence, lifelong learning, personal growth, and a sense of belonging.
Some Responsibilities Include:
Promote Resident Engagement and Well-Being Coordinate and facilitate meaningful programs and experiences that support the Seven Dimensions of Wellness. Create opportunities for residents to actively participate, contribute, learn, connect, and express themselves through purposeful and engaging programming. Foster an environment that encourages resident choice, self-expression, independence, dignity, and inclusion. Identify and incorporate residents' interests, talents, life experiences, and personal goals into activities and programming. Adapt programming to meet the unique needs, preferences, and abilities of residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Nursing settings. Establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and team members. Coordinate Resident-Centered Programming Organize, facilitate, and support daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal activity calendars. Coordinate engaging programs that encourage participation, social connection, creativity, lifelong learning, physical movement, purposeful engagement, and meaningful contribution to community life. Utilize resident feedback, participation trends, and observed interests to enhance programming and increase resident involvement. Support entertainers, presenters, volunteers, and community partners while ensuring experiences encourage active resident participation, interaction, and engagement whenever appropriate. Inform residents of available activities and encourage participation based on their interests and abilities. Introduce new activities, materials, and engagement opportunities that enrich resident lifestyles. Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
