Skilled Nursing Facility - Activities Director Full Time Position We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly and creative activity director to join our SNF team.

Tentative Schedule:

Day shift: Mon-Fri 8am-4:00pm

Qualifications:

✓ Is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist, or as an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body on or after October 1, 1990; or ✓ Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program with the last 5 years, one of which was full-time in a therapeutic activities program; or ✓ Is a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; or ✓ Has completed a training course approved by the state Activities coordinator experience preferred. Experience planning/scheduling events preferred. Strong communication skills and public speaking preferred. Creative ideas for decor/games/ activities preferred.

Job Description:

Designs, develops and conducts activities program provided on a daily basis and modifies existing programs as necessary Develops and maintains a positive relationship with residents Develops and maintains a volunteer program Designs and arranges outside contracted entertainment Designs and arranges recurring events such as monthly calendars, newsletters, and themed facility events Conduct/coordinate room visits Coordinates resident council meetings Additional duties assigned by
