Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to join our team at a Assisted Living Facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating engaging programs to enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a variety of recreational programs and activities for senior residents
- Coordinate social events, outings, and entertainment to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Collaborate with staff to integrate activities that cater to residents' interests and abilities
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident preferences
- Ensure activities comply with regulations and enhance the overall well-being of residents
Requirements:
- Experience in event planning, recreational therapy
- Knowledge of aging issues, memory care, and senior care services
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to work in assisted living environment
- Background in social work or counseling is a plus _ Must be able to create an appropriate activity calendar Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of seniors through meaningful activities and programs tailored to their needs.
