Job Description
Activities Director - Brookings, SD StoneyBrook Suites is seeking a Full-Time Activities Director to lead life enrichment programming at our Brookings community. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading meaningful activities that enhance residents' quality of life while creating an engaging and supportive environment where residents feel connected, valued, and energized each day. What You'll Do Plan, organize, and lead engaging daily activities and special events Develop physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual programs that enrich residents' lives Evaluate and adapt programming to meet resident interests and abilities Foster community engagement and participation Obtain on-site training for Resident Assistant & Med Aide (on-call every 6 weeks) What We're Looking For Experience in activity planning, event coordination, or life enrichment (helpful) Experience working with the elderly or in a healthcare setting (helpful) Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and energetic personality Reliable, organized, and self-motivated High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office programs What We Offer We offer a competitive wage and benefits package, a supportive leadership team, and the chance to create meaningful daily impact within a well-established community.
