Providing for more than just the physical needs of our patients… Groesbeck Nursing and Rehab in partnership with Century Rehabilitation, is seeking a personable and responsible Certified Activity Director to plan and direct a program of diversified activities for our residents. The goal of the activity program is to provide mental and physical stimulation as well as to create an invigorating social atmosphere for our residents. This position will also handle central supply and medical records. Qualifications:

Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting. Has a high school diploma or equivalency certificate. Has completed a state-approved activities director training course. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
