Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans Provide expert patient care across various specialties such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and medical-surgical units Administer medications and injections following HIPAA guidelines and proper medical documentation standards Perform venipuncture and IV insertions with precision to ensure patient comfort and safety Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Assist in complex procedures within OR (Operating Room) settings or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), demonstrating advanced clinical skills Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and post-acute care plans to promote health literacy and compliance Maintain knowledge of current medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to support effective patient assessment and care planning Support infectious disease care protocols, urgent care procedures, and telehealth services to expand access to quality healthcare MSN with focus on Family Nurse Practitioner, licensed as a RN and APN in the state of Arkansas with certificate of recognition as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
