In this role, you will assess and manage student health needs, administer medications and treatments, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate health records. Responsibilities Assess and manage acute and chronic student health needs during the school day. Administer medications, treatments, and first aid per physician orders and school policies. Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans. Maintain accurate, confidential student health records and documentation. Monitor immunization compliance and communicable disease protocols. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student health and learning. Provide health education to students and staff on wellness and disease prevention. Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with outside providers as needed. Participate in health screenings and referrals for further evaluation. Support a safe, healthy school environment aligned with district and state regulations.
