Job Description
The Public Health Nurse in this position plans and works in all clinic programs in Currituck County. Clinic programs include but are not limited to: Primary Care, Child Health, Maternal Health, High Risk, Adult Health, c, HIV/Infectious Disease, Family Planning, and Behavioral Health. The Public Health Nurse may also provide direction for other staff as directly related to these services. The Public Health Nurse in this position also assists in establishing clinic goals, policies, procedures, and guidelines for these programs. Daily and weekly work is selfplanned and coordinated with team. This position is based in Currituck but may be asked to cover counties within the service area as needed.
