Part Time/ Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Transcend Surgery Center - 3.0 Carlstadt, NJ Job Details Part-time $40 - $50 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Outpatient surgery experience RN License BLS Certification ACLS Certification Critical care (emergency response procedures) Associate's degree Associate Degree in Nursing Full Job Description Job Overview ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our surgical center located in Carlstadt, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Days available for coverage:

Mondays, Fridays, and two Saturdays a month

MUST HAVE SURGICAL CENTER EXPERIENCE/SAME DAY SURGERY CENTER EXPERIENCE ORTHOPEDIC EXPERIENCE IS ALSO A PLUS!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duties Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide education to patients and regarding health management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in emergency situations, providing critical care as needed. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requirements Current New Jersey RN license Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred BLS and ACLS certification required Previous experience in an orthopedic, urgent care, or emergency setting is a plus Pre-Op/PACU experience a plus Schedule Part time/ Per Diem days: Monday, Friday, and two Saturdays a month More dates available in the upcoming months for those interested.
