Role:

As a Per Diem Assisted Living LPN, you will support the health, safety, and well-being of residents while providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care. Responsibilities may include clinical observation, medication administration, clinical documentation, monitoring residents for changes in condition, and communicating appropriately with residents, families, and the clinical team. Because this is a per-diem position, the ideal candidate is dependable, clinically confident, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while recognizing when changes in a resident's condition need to be communicated or escalated.

What we are looking for:

Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Prior nursing experience in assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, home health, or a related healthcare setting is preferred. Experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations is preferred. Strong clinical assessment and observation skills. Experience with medication administration and clinical documentation preferred. Ability to recognize and appropriately communicate changes in a resident's condition. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a per-diem environment.
