Snow College is seeking a dependable, technology-minded individual to support the Nursing Program's Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) classrooms on the Ephraim campus. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of classroom technology before and during live instruction, providing technical support to faculty, and helping deliver a seamless learning experience for students across multiple campuses. Ability to sit and use computers or related equipment for extended periods
Ability to reach and/or crouch to troubleshoot audiovisual equipment when needed
Provide technical support for Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) nursing classes
Prepare and verify all classroom technology and connections prior to each class
Monitor live IVC sessions and respond immediately to technical issues to minimize instructional disruptions
Coordinate with nursing faculty to ensure seamless classroom transitions when instructors teach from different campus locations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving computers, cameras, displays, microphones, document cameras, and video conferencing software
Assist with maintaining classroom equipment and report maintenance needs
Perform other related duties as assignedTraining will be provided; prior experience with Snow's Interactive Video Conferencing systems is not required.
Nursing Facilitators follow Snow's class and holiday/break schedule, with summers off. Weekly hours remain the same throughout the semester, though days and times may change from one semester to the next. Facilitators work an average of 15 hours/week based on nursing course schedules and needs. Sample schedules from previous semesters include: Mondays 8:15-3:00 Tuesdays 9:15-2:30 Wednesdays 9:15-2:30 Thursdays - off Fridays 8:15-1:30 Mondays 10:15-12:15 Tuesdays 8:15-3:30 Wednesdays 8:15-12:30 Thursday 9:30-12:30 Every other Friday 10:15-12:30 Applications received by 11:59 PM on July 23, 2026, will be eligible for review by the hiring committee.
