Stonecreek Medical Associates PC is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office / Medical Records & Scanning Specialist to join our team in Paradise Valley, AZ. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in keeping our practice running smoothly while supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Scan, index, and upload medical documents into the electronic health record (EHR) system Retrieve and release medical records in response to authorized requests Perform general medical office administrative duties including answering phones, making appointments, filing, data entry, and correspondence Ensure proper organization and storage of physical and digital records Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely processing of records Audit records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with practice standards

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical office, medical records, or healthcare administrative role preferred Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and document scanning software Strong knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality requirements Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office or health information certification a plus
