In this vital role, you will work closely with our Admissions Coordinator to ensure a seamless transition for patients entering our facility. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with medical administrative experience looking to grow their career in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.

What You'll Do:

Support the

Front Line:

Act as a welcoming point of contact for new patients and families, ensuring a smooth and positive intake experience.

Insurance Navigation:

Assist with verifying insurance coverage (Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Managed Care) and obtaining necessary authorizations.

Data Integrity:

Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance details into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Administrative Flow:

Handle multi-line phones, respond to inquiries about our services, and manage essential paperwork (scanning, faxing, and filing).

Collaborate:

Work alongside clinical and billing departments to ensure efficient patient flow and the highest quality care.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

Previous experience in a medical office or SNF setting (Admissions experience is a major plus!).

Knowledge:

Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA regulations.

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency with EMR software and multi-line phone systems.
