We are looking for a Referral Coordinator to join our team. Work hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm but is subject to change based on the needs of the clinic. Primary duties will include but are not limited to:

Coordinating approvals from insurance companies for diagnostic testing and referrals
Follow AMM protocol to submit authorizations/referrals
Tracking Referral compliance
Maintaining/Tracking Insurance Updates as it relates to patient care within the office
Scheduling/Assisting with patient appointments

Requirements:

Knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent customer service skills
Electronic Medical Records proficiency, Cerner preferred
The desire to work in a fast pace environment
The ability to communicate clearly to patients and fellow staff members both verbally and in writing

Educational Requirement:

A High School Diploma or GED
