Eye Care Technician - Riemer Eye Center Our Patient Care Team in Ludington is looking to add motivated and compassionate Eye Care Technicians who want to build a career in healthcare and make a difference in the lives of our patients. The Eye Care Technician performs specialized testing and measurements of eye function to assist our Ophthalmologists in providing exceptional patient care. This role is an important part of the patient experience, helping ensure accurate testing, efficient visits, and outstanding service from check-in through treatment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Ophthalmic Technician, or healthcare professional. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn. What You'll Do Perform patient testing and measurements to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment. Obtain patient medical history and prepare patients for physician examinations. Operate ophthalmic equipment and assist with specialized testing. Provide professional and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system. Educate patients on testing procedures and assist with questions. Support physicians and team members to ensure an efficient patient experience. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and healthcare standards.
