Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a community health center dedicated to providing quality healthcare to individuals in Ava, Gainesville, Mansfield, Mountain Grove, Cabool, Theodosia and Houston. Our team has been caring for patients since 1997 and is committed to expanding our services. We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our front desk team at our Theodosia Clinic. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to think independently and act decisively when needed. Candidates should have medical and dental knowledge with front desk experience. A willingness to travel to other clinic locations occasionally is required.
Responsibilities:
Professionally greet patients and clients on the telephone or as they enter the clinic. Adhere to clinic policies and procedures when processing patients/clients. Handle telephone communication to the clinic: make patient/client appointments and any return appointments, screen personal and emergency calls and answer inquiries relating to service and fees. Must ensure confidentiality of all patient/client records. Provide required receptionist assistance in support of other clerks at their primary and other clinic sites. Accurately enter all medical and/or dental payments from patients promptly. Perform other duties as assigned by Patient Services Supervisor. Always maintain professionalism and rapport. May need to travel to alternate work locations and work other hours as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a healthcare-related office setting, including dental knowledge, preferred. Must have a neat and clean appearance. Demonstrate skill in computer system operations. Potential employees will receive and must pass a drug/alcohol screening prior to employment.

From $15.00 per hour
