DESCRIPTION

Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a full-time Patient Accounts Representative. The Patient Accounts Representative functions as part of the health care team and is responsible for preparing and processing medical, dental, and behavioral health insurance claims, posting insurance and patient payments, assisting patients with billing statements and questions, conducting telephone inquiries to and from patients, insurance companies, and supporting the collection of NWCHC's accounts receivable. The successful candidate will additionally be responsible for pharmacy billing duties, reconciling pharmacy payments, and working closely with pharmacy, clinical, and fiscal staff to ensure accurate and timely payment collection and data entry. Additional responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling appointments, handling sensitive medical information, and other office duties as assigned. Job requires high school diploma. One year of recent or relevant medical office, billing, or pharmacy billing experience preferred. Position is eligible for comprehensive benefits, and wage will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
