Job Summary:
Under general supervision, and according to well defined policies and procedures, interviews patients and/or patients' representatives to obtain necessary personal, demographic and financial information and identification. Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to the patients' registration within the registration areas. Exhibits Service Excellence Standards at all times, and incorporates into all interactions.

Job Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with professional appearance Ability to function independently Clerical, data entry and typing skills including filing and record keeping One or more years of registration or related clerical/health care experience is preferred when accompanied with HS Diploma or equivalent Some knowledge of computer systems Ability to work in a fast paced environment that has frequent changes in priorities Flexibility and ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy
Education Requirements:

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
