Today, our Behavioral Health Center will change how mental health services are delivered in Cleveland. Primary Patient Population:
Adult and Gero Psych Primary skills utilized/learned: Therapeutic Listening Verbal De-escalation Crisis Management Relationship Building Milieu Management Group Programming Facilitation Personnel RN will work with : LPNs, Registered Nurses, Providers, Psychologists, Behavioral Health Specialists (BHS), Social Workers Number of beds on unit: 20 beds MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (
NOTE:
Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position). 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
