Job Description Per Diem (various shifts between 6 a.m. - 11 p.m., weekends included) The Registration Clerk is responsible for procedures pertaining to hospital admissions, outpatient and emergency room registration functions. The Registration Clerk collects required patient demographic and insurance carrier data, participates in the collection of deductibles and co-pays while ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations. They also perform general reception duties, including greeting patients/visitors, providing directions and directing patients to clinical areas. Job Requirements Requires the ability to communicate effectively, good organizational skills, accurate with details, moderate typing skills. Familiar with medical and insurance terminology and related office experience preferred.
