We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who enjoys working directly with people. The candidate must be professional, courteous, and have excellent communication skills. As we are an eye care office, the ability to help patients choose the right frame is always welcomed. If you have an eye for style, this would be the perfect position. Medical office experience a plus, but not necessary as we provide in-depth training. We use a computer-based medical records system and excel spreadsheets, so computer skills and the ability to type proficiently are required. Main responsibilities include:

Answering phones to schedule appts and handle other patient needs (such as emergency issues, contact lens orders, etc.) Assisting doctor and technicians in day-to-day tasks, such as communication of treatment plans, updating electronic health records, filing, etc. Medical eye health testing (training provided) Expanded duties once established with training and experience. As we work as a coordinated team, basic cross-training of other positions in the office will be provided as we always strive to provide seamless and expedient handling of patients at all times, even if another staff member is unavailable.
