Receptionist, Float - Clinic, Patient Access - Full Time

Job Description

The Receptionist Float - Clinic, Patient Access, typically involves a range of Administrative tasks and Customer Service duties
Patient Intake:
Greeting patients, Checking in patients, entering demographics and insurance information, in computer system in a friendly, confidential, and timely manner.
Customer Service:
Providing excellent Customer Service to patients and Team members
Administrative Duties:
Answering phones, Collecting co-payments and balances due, managing patient check out, and scheduling follow up appointments
Documentation:
Copying, Faxing, Scanning patient documents into the electronic medical record.
Office Management:
Ensuring the reception area is tidy sanitized and well-stocked with necessary materials. These responsibilities may vary depending on the specific clinic or healthcare provider. It is important for the candidate to be flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of tasks needed.
Other duties include:
