JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Experience Representative serves as the welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and community members entering Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. This role creates a warm, compassionate, and reassuring environment by offering assistance, directions, and personalized support to ensure individuals feel valued, informed, and at ease throughout their visit. As a front-line ambassador of the Patient Experience department, the position contributes to the hospital's culture of person-centered care by shaping first and lasting impressions and supporting a positive, respectful, and inclusive hospital experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Certifications/Licenses:

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming, and compassionate experience for patients, families, visitors, and community members Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to clearly understand needs, answer questions, and provide guidance in a respectful and reassuring manner Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in fast-paced or high-pressure situations Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic healthcare environment Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Ability to assist patients and visitors with mobility needs while following hospital safety and cleanliness guidelines Ability to learn and navigate hospital departments, services, and layouts to support effective wayfinding and assistance Basic proficiency with computer systems and technology used for communication, documentation, and coordination Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism MHSC offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, & a generous paid time off program.
