Job Description

Patient Access Specialist Crook County Medical Services District is currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Specialist position for the Sundance Clinic. This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments to maintain a steady flow for health care providers.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to work well with the public Registering patients- ER/Outpatients and Clinics Answering phones in a timely and professional manner Keeping medical records up to date Logging of daily payments Filling out outpatient sheets when necessary Collection of cash payments as needed Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

Minimum age of 16 years old High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

Previous receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule:

This will be a part-time position, and the schedule will vary based on clinic needs.
