Job Description

Step into a rewarding position where your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology can make a lasting impact on childrens lives. This contract opportunity offers an engaging school-based environment near Palmer, AK, where youll collaborate with dedicated educators, families, and support staff to help students achieve their communication and academic potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Alaska
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered Recent experience providing speech/language therapy in pediatric or school-age populations Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance standards Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and collaborating with educational staff and parents Track student progress through data collection and maintain accurate records Educate and consult with teachers, aides, and families to reinforce therapy goals in classroom and home environments
