Qualifications:
Valid
ASHA SLP
License (CCC required) Professional Educator Alabama SLP Certification (verify via Alabama Department of Education) School-based SLP experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to K-12 students (itinerant, approximately 60-student caseload) Manage split assignment between Shelby County High, Columbiana Middle, and Helena Intermediate Schools Conduct assessments and create IEPs in alignment with school and district policies Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student development Maintain detailed documentation and student records
