Job Description
Overview This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist that has already completed CFY and has obtained C's. This position is not for a new graduate. Seeking a part time or a full time Speech therapist. 4 day work week for full time and flexible days for part time. In our clinic we have a lot of amazing therapists including ST, OT and PT. We are an amazing team and are excited about continued growth. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves working with pediatric patients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. . This position is for our pediatric clinic . You will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication skills of children, helping them achieve their fullest potential. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in pediatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results and specific needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and resources to families regarding speech development and intervention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with medical standards. Experience Previous experience working in a pediatric environment is highly desirable. Strong background in pediatrics and early intervention practices is preferred but not required. Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with various speech therapy modalities and techniques tailored for children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
