Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to help children develop communication skills that will last a lifetime. The position calls for a knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to work closely with both students and educational staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' communication abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student Provide direct therapy to students with diverse speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to monitor progress and support student growth Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to support student success
