Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and academic success with a manageable caseload of 55, including just 8 cases requiring file management. This full-time position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with a CCC and for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SPLAs) passionate about fostering growth in a school environment. All services, including assessments and direct therapy, are conducted in person to optimize student engagement and outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLP (CCC) or SLPA credentials required for school-based practice Experience in educational settings is highly valued Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Dedication to student-centered, evidence-based interventions Clear communication and relationship-building strengths with students, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy face-to-face for your assigned students Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments as needs arise throughout the academic year Oversee a limited number of case management files (8) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster supportive learning environments Document progress, maintain compliance paperwork, and participate in IEP meetings as necessary Implement individualized and group interventions to facilitate student communication development
