Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Compassion and enthusiasm for working with school-aged children
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students in grades 3-5, providing direct speech-language services Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress reviews Maintain organized documentation and adhere to school and district policies Deliver therapy services to students at both Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Middle School This contract position offers stable hours, a supportive school environment, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
