Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active or pending ABESPA Alabama SLP Certification and/or Alabama SLP DOE Certification (must hold at least one to start; both required eventually) SLP-CCC credentials preferred Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to elementary-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 3 through 6 Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with instructional teams to support student success Regularly communicate progress to families and educators Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
